Vancouver, British Columbia — December 1, 2016 — White & Peters held a pair of collision repair equipment trade shows in Vancouver and Kelowna with the goal of showcasing new technologies. The purpose of the event was jointly oriented towards sales and education, with informative presentations and hands-on demonstration from equipment and collision repair manufacturers in the industry.

Presentations covered such topics as training, and how it relates to OEM certifications, where to make the most impactful investments in your equipment, the Color Compass  inventory management system KUBE IMDS, what’s needed for OEM certifications and the art of precise digital marketing in an ever cluttered marketplace.

Sean Skoropat, Sales Manager for White & Peters, says that the shows went wonderfully, and that in addition to more shows in the future, there will be events specifically geared towards a new training centre that Color Compass plans to open in 2017.

“We wanted to address some of the questions that we were seeing in our marketplace with regards to new equipment and how they relate to the OEM certification process,” says Skoropat. “We were quite happy with the attendance of both shows in Vancouver and Kelowna, and were thrilled that we were able to feature live demos at the Kelowna show. We hope to hold more of these type events in the near future in conjunction with the new Color Compass  training centre that is opening soon!”

Featured vendors included Pro Spot, showing certified repair equipment for welding, brazing and rivet bonding. Betag Innovation Repair Solutions showcased BMW certified repair systems and Wedge Clamp presented plastic welding systems. CPS demonstrated AC recharge equipment. Also on the roster were B-TEC Systems demonstrating the company’s infrared technology, Caruk & Associates showing off Dynabrade Vac systems, and Dent Fix Equipment displaying its repair stations and tools. In addition to the featured vendors, Inventory Management technology vendor KUBE IMDS, and PUREAUTO Digital Marketing Systems made appearances to demonstrate their respective products.

White & Peters is part of Color Compass, which also includes Carlson Body Shop Supply, Chase Auto Body Supplies, PBE Distributors and Rocky Mountain Sales.
