Calgary, Alberta — The community of Red Deer is now home to ProColor Collision Wheaton Red Deer, Fix Network announced December 1.
The new ProColor Collision facility is the latest venture of the Wheaton family, which has been associated with the province’s automotive industry for the past 60 years and operated a General Motors dealership in the area for the past 30 years.
Previously called Wheaton Collision Red Deer, the facility offers collision repair, film coatings, ceramic coatings, glass repair and replacement, and paintless dent repair.
Will McClellan, Dealer Principal and Partner at ProColor Collision Wheaton Red Deer, says the new shop expands the organization’s automotive portfolio.
“We’ve built a strong reputation in Red Deer over the years, based on integrity, quality work and customer dedication. We are pleased to have found a formidable partner in ProColor Collision, which shares our vision and is keen to fuel our ambition for further growth,” he said.
“Our automotive dealership has been experiencing tremendous year-on-year growth and we want to ensure that our repair centre is also well-equipped to offer that high level of service but on a larger scale,” McClellan said. “We are looking forward to our partnership with ProColor Collision for many reasons, particularly its professionalism, focus on growth and customer service-oriented approach to the business, which align well with our business and our team.”
ProColor Collision Wheaton Red Deer is a 929 sq. m. (10,000 sq. ft.) facility with all-new equipment and certified technicians trained to repair the most modern vehicles.
The store offers a large and welcoming reception area, said Fix Network, while the production floor features brand-new paint booths and repair and calibration equipment. The collision centre is also a certified collision repair centre for most OEM brands, including Toyota, Ford, Stellantis, Kia, Nissan, Honda, Acura, Hyundai, Genesis and more.
“Many of our ProColor Collision facilities across Canada are owned by families with an excellent reputation in their communities,” said Chris Peterson, regional vice president of Western Canada for Fix Network. “Working with such inspired owners who evolve with the times makes this a win-win relationship for both of us.”
