Welcomes of the Week: Fix Auto adds Strathmore, Alta. repair centre to network

Strathmore, Alberta — Fix Auto has added a new location in Strathmore, Alberta to its network.

The new shop strengthens Fix Auto’s footprint in Alberta, “bringing advanced collision repair services to the closely-knit community of Strathmore,” said the company via press release.

The new shop is the third Fix Auto location established by owner-operators Andy and Lana Moritz in just four years. The enterprising couple launched Fix Auto Calgary Deerfoot in 2016, following up with Fix Auto Drayton three years later. In 2017, they also entered the automotive glass repair business by taking up a NOVUS Glass franchise in the region.

The Moritz’s latest labour of love–Fix Auto Strathmore–was launched recently to meet the growing regional demand for advanced collision repair services. Fix Auto Strathmore is a 10,000 square foot repair centre, outfitted with the industry’s most modern collision repair equipment and boasts of a highly trained team of auto technicians and support staff.

“Strathmore is a fast-growing town and we are keen to bring our expertise to this important community,” says Lana Moritz. “In this endeavour, we have put together a fantastic team of experienced technicians and front-end staff. From offering the highest quality of repair work to unparalleled customer service, Fix Auto Strathmore aims to become the best-in-class facility in the region.”

The couple has been associated with the region’s collision repair industry for over a decade, but it was only in 2016 that they decided to move their business to Fix Network. “We decided to join the Fix Network as we felt that their core values aligned with ours. We wanted to be part of a team that recognizes the value of family and reputation,” explains Lana. “Also, we wanted to make a difference in the lives of not only our family but the people who work for us.”

“Fix Auto is different than other brands because they always emphasize on putting the customer first in every transaction,” she points out. “We are able to offer excellent customer service and handle a quality repair while being backed by a well-recognized international brand. We have developed a strong trust with our insurance partners and supplier partners.”

Recently, Fix Auto Calgary Deerfoot achieved recognition under the Canadian Collision Industry Accreditation Program (CCIAP), joining an elite group of Canadian collision repairers who are equipped with the necessary expertise, skills and equipment to properly and safely repair the latest vehicles. The Moritz’s are now working towards achieving the CCIAP certification for their Drayton and Strathmore locations.

Welcoming Fix Auto Strathmore into the network, Chris Peterson, regional VP for Fix Network in Western Canada said, “Both Lana and Andy Moritz are incredibly engaged members within the Fix Network family and on top of the most modern industry advancements. After observing how they have so quickly turned around the operations at their other Fix Auto locations, I am confident that their latest venture too will soon become the best-in-class facility in the province.”
