Airdrie, Alberta — On Oct. 4 AutoCanada announced it had acquired Airdrie Autobody, marking the company’s fourth collision centre acquisition since Q42020.
According to AutoCanada, Airdrie Autobody has been servicing the Airdrie community for more than 25 years. The business also offers a strategic location for AutoCanada, which owns seven dealerships in close proximity to its new collision centre, including Airdrie Chrysler Dodge, Jeep Ram, Courtesy Chrysler, Crowfoot Hyundai, Fish Creek Nissan, Hyatt Infinity, Northland Volkswagen and Tower Chrysler.
“The addition of this well-managed business marks the fourth collision centre acquisition since Q4 2020 and aligns with our goal of expanding our national collision centre footprint,” said Paul Antony, executive chairman of AutoCanada. “Our focus remains on supporting our customers and OEM partners through the entire vehicle ownership lifecycle – including collision repair. Increasing vehicle complexity puts a further emphasis on fixing vehicles the right way – using parts and procedures prescribed by the OEM.”
