London, United Kingdom — The International Bodyshop Industry Symposium (IBIS) has announced the appointment of Mario Dimovski as an IBIS ambassador for North America, kick-starting its 2023 schedule themed “Sustainable Strategies for Success”.
The IBIS Ambassadors program is a collaboration between IBIS Worldwide and automotive collision experts, bringing fresh, innovative content and expertise to audiences at each conference.
According to IBIS, Dimovski is one of the industry’s leading innovators, with ongoing work in plastic repair, 3D printing and adopting emerging technologies such as extended reality.
In 2021, Dimowski took a 12-month absence to focus on his family’s move to the United States. He also took a break from social media, but has since returned to the autobody industry in October 2022, according to his Twitter.
He has since returned to the industry, becoming the director of sustainability at Boyd Group and speaking at SEMA last year.
“I am excited to be back working with the extended IBIS family,” said Dimovski.
“We look forward to collaborating with Mario again, with whom we have a rich history of working together. He offers a high level of innovative energy, and his views are respected by the industry and his fellow Ambassadors,” said Jason Moseley, IBIS Worldwide CEO.
