Toronto, Ontario — April 10, 2019 — Wedge Clamp has launched the industry’s first completely microprocessor controlled plastic welding station– the Fusion Plus Plastic Repair Station.
Engineered with ease-of-use in mind, the welding wand features a fingertip control switch that allows technicians to make quick and precise control over the temperature. Wedge Clamp says this feature makes it far easier for technicians to perform plastic welds at the perfect temperature and speed, effectively eliminating the risk of burning and oxidization.
The all-electric tool comes in a mobile work station with tool storage and only requires 110 power. Unlike nitrogen powered welders, users can simply return the wand to the cradle after completing a weld, as the system cycles off and enters an automatic sleep mode.
