Toronto, Ontario — January 27, 2016 — The techs of the future need training, but instruction alone isn’t enough. They also need access to the latest equipment to make sure their skills are up-to-date when they enter the workforce. Wedge Clamp and Roger Turmel of AutoQuip Canada have stepped up to help make sure students at Centennial College in Toronto get the opportunity to learn their trade with the help of the latest gear.
Wedge Clamp and Turmel have donated a full Wedge Clamp Chainless Anchoring System to the school’s Auto Body programs.
“We’re very happy to have the Wedge Clamp system as part of our program,” says Paulo Santos, the program coordinator for Centennial’s Auto Body programs. “I think this will be of great benefit to our students and help prepare them for some of what they will encounter in the field.”
John Martinolich, Technical Sales Manager at Wedge Clamp, trained 50 students and five faculty members on how to use the new Wedge Clamp System. Martinolich will return next year to train a new crop of students on the system.
