Peterborough, Ontario — May 16, 2017 — In a new video released by AutoQuip, an equipment installation at CARSTAR Peterborough goes from a work in progress to complete in just a few minutes. Of course, the video uses time lapse to speed the process up and shows quite a bit of work over just a few minutes.
Without the aid of a real-life speed control, the installation goes somewhat slower, but Roger Turmel of AutoQuip notes that it goes faster than you might expect.
The equipment in the video is a Garmat Tier 1 semi downdraft CTOF heated prep station. “The installation process for this model takes only approximately two weeks,” says Turmel.
According to Garmat, the prep station includes reverse incline fans, 3 phase intrinsically safe remote control panels and high airflow and performance. You can check out the install yourself in the video below.
