Vancouver, British Columbia — July 12, 2017 — VeriFacts has announced it will expand its programs to Canada. The company provides independent third-party verification services for its clients. According to the company, it represents and supports OEMs such as American Honda, Tesla and Cadillac, evaluating the quality of a shop’s practices based on the standards set by OEMs.
VeriFacts’ stated goals are simple: to ensure that their clients’ are repairing vehicles in a manner that restores the vehicle to its pre-accident condition, preserves a vehicle in terms of appearance, safety and value and ensures that the vehicle’s lifetime warranty is maintained.
According to Larry Miller, Vice President of Business Development and Operations for VeriFacts Canada, one of VeriFacts’ most notable programs is the VeriFacts Verified Quality (VQ) program. The VQ program offers several features, including monthly onsite evaluations of clients’ tools, technology and overall repair process.
In a recent interview with Collision Repair magazine, Miller said these evaluations are designed to determine whether the shop has proper working equipment, that the technicians are properly trained and to ensure that proper and safe repair methodologies are consistently applied to the repair process.
“The reality is that technology and materials used in manufacturing today’s automobiles have changed the way we repair them,” Miller said. “Because of this, estimate and structural repair should begin with printing off the manufacturer’s procedures. If this is done each time the correct repair can follow, repairing the car to accident ready when it leaves the shop.” According to Miller, VeriFacts hopes to make this common practice.
“Our true focus is helping the industry repair cars so they’re accident ready when they leave,” said Miller. “Our expansion, and our Canadian team, is a really big source of pride for us.”
