Toronto, Ontario — June 25, 2019 – Fix Auto held its annual soccer tournament on Thursday, June 20th, attracting more than 115 participants and a crowd of spectators.
Hosted in the Vaughan Trio Sportsplex, this is the 17th year Fix Auto has organized the tournament for their strategic partners and other insurance providers. The turnout has always been widely-attended
Competition was tight. The tournament featured ten teams made up of fierce competitors from Wawanesa, TD Insurance, Unica, RSA, Unifund, Economical, Aviva Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Claims Pro, Fix Auto as well as Enterprise Rent-a-car.
“The competition was intense…but only one team could walk away with the trophy at the end of the day,” stated Fix Auto in a press release.
Insurance provider Unica has been the reigning champ for the past two years, and this year, they brought their A-Game all over again.
The tournament consisted of three round-robin games followed by semi-finals. By the end, Unica was head to head with Wawanesa. They fought hard, but eventually, Unica won for the third time in a row and took home the Fix Auto trophy.
Will Unica’s championship reign? Partners and insurance providers will have to wait until next June to find out.
