Boucherville, Québec — October 6, 2016 — Uni-Select has acquired the assets of Guelph Paint and Bumper Supplies via its subsidiary FinishMaster Canada.

Guelph Paint and Bumper distributes autobody supplies, automotive refinish supplies and related products in Guelph, Ontario. The acquisition broadens Uni-Select’s presence in the Ontario market. FinishMaster is a long-standing and well-known name in the US, but it is only recently that Uni-Select has brought the brand to Canada. According to a statement from Uni-Select, the location will be re-branded to its FinishMaster brand in the coming weeks. Guelph Paint and Bumper, as FinishMaster, will continue to support the AkzoNobel product line and deliver service to all its current customers. FinishMaster Canada currently supports the AkzoNobel product lines in numerous locations across Canada.
