Scarborough, Ontario — As much as we may not like to admit it, speed’s best companion is safety, and that is why the automotive suppliers at Paintsource have partnered up with the P.A.C.E.R. program to unveil a freshly painted police drag car live at their store, in August.
The team at Paintsource will be hosting a “show and shine” all afternoon, inviting local auto enthusiasts to come over and show off their rides, get a free car wash, and maybe even leave with a prize.
Those who attend will be treated to product demonstrations from a number of aftermarket industry vendors while enjoying a barbecue that Collision Repair can vouch for first-hand—keep an eye out for the jerk chicken, you won’t be disappointed.
Paintsource’s show and shine barbecue for the P.A.C.E.R. program (Police and Community Educating Racers) is set to run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 7 at the company’s storefront at 1345 Morningside Ave., Scarborough.
Several members of municipal and provincial government are expected to be on-hand for August’s drag car unveiling.
The P.A.C.E.R. program is a not-for-profit community organization that works with police to educate the public about illegal street racing and dangerous vehicle modifications. Paintsource is among the organization’s primary sponsors.
