Oakville, Ontario — July 29, 2016 — Innovation enthusiasts from across southern Ontario will have the opportunity to see first hand some of the advances that have been made in the collision repair industry over the past year, as Treschak Enterprises prepares to host a September trade show.
Centered on innovation and creativity within the business, the show, to be held at Otello’s Banquet and Convention Centre on September 15, will highlight some of the brand-new, cutting edge products and services that are expected to hit the market over the coming months.
Speaking to Collision Repair magazine, Jamie Treschak of Treschak Enterprises said this was the “perfect way” to properly introduce his organization to the area after breaking into the GTA and surrounding regions three years ago.
Originally serving the Niagara, Hamilton-Wentworth, Burlington, Simcoe, Delhi and Brantford regions, Treschak Enterprises is an auto body supplier with over 30 years spent in the industry.
“This show is just a great opportunity for people from the industry to come out, interact and network with each other and basically learn a thing or two about what’s new on the market,” Treschak said. “It’s been four years since we last put one of these together, so it should be a lot of fun.”
Preceding the trade show itself will be a three-hour ‘Lunch and Learn,’ (running from noon until 3 p.m.) headlined by speakers Leanne Jefferies and Amjad Sarah. The pair will be discussing the importance of OEM certification. Treschak noted there would also be a number of vendors speaking at the luncheon.
“The ‘Lunch and Learn’ will act as a bit of a lead-in to the trade show – there will be a number of speakers talking about several interesting topics,” Treschak said. “Lunch is provided (in the $50 package to attend). Simply put, it’s an opportunity to enjoy some speakers and maybe even learn a thing or two about the industry.”
The trade show component begins at 3 p.m. and this, according to Treschak, is where the real fun will begin.
“3M Auto is going to be coming in and showing off some of their cool new tools and gadgets, so that’s going to be great to see,” Treschak said. “I’ve seen their new vacuum system and it’s a really, really slick tool, so I think a lot of people are going to be really impressed.
SATA, AkzoNobel, DeVilbiss, Hedson Technologies, CCP Industries, MicaZen and others will be featured at the trade show.
“This is the sort of thing that I would encourage anyone with any type of involvement in the collision repair industry to come and check out, there’s going to be a lot of people here with a lot of knowledge on a lot of different things, so there’s going to be a learning opportunity there for sure,” Treschak said. “It’s always good to get out and see what’s new.”
He added, “For people in this area, if you don’t feel like flying to NACE, you can come and see a bunch of cool, new things right here in your own back yard. What more could you ask for?”
