Tradiebot’s WorxAR could change the game for collision repair training

By CRM staff

Toronto, Ontario – April 11, 2019 – Australian based auto innovation company, Tradiebot Industries has come out with a new augmented reality software application that might just change the way training is done in the collision repair industry in Canada and all over the world.

Imagine a system that would assist you with your repairs, like a guide. Tradiebot’s new software, WorxAR uses augmented reality to help technicians perform service repairs by accessing the latest digital repair processes and service manuals. It almost acts as a digital assistant for collision repairers performing repairs on a vehicle.

The technology is also being used for training, providing access to standard operating procedures, repair manuals, real-time information on workshop jobs and intuitive training in a digital format accessible via smartphone, tablet or AR glasses.

This smart vision-based platform can provide detailed context relevant information when and where it’s needed via cloud-data management services hosted within your secure network or managed by WorxAR.

“The software can be tailored to suit customers needs using their own branding and integrated within their current users, parts, workflow or customer management systems,” a representative from Tradiebot told Collision Repair.

Tradiebot founder Mario Dimovski says this new technology will be a “game changer.”

“Context relevant information can now be delivered in an on-the-job interactive way that is so intuitive and effortless for end users to assist in repairs, service, maintenance, and training.”

Director of marketing for PPG Keven Woolerton experienced the software at an Expo in Australia and says he believes this could change the way future technicians are trained.

“This is the next evolution in how information is offered and a real boost to our industry that is struggling to maintain an up-skilled workforce. This technology will allow the upskill of future technicians whilst also providing knowledge to technicians in digital format.”
