Toronto, Ontario — Sept. 6, 2019 — The PTAO Tow Show is back and bigger than ever. This year’s show — running Friday, September 20th and Saturday, September 21st — has been advertised as 25 percent larger, featuring more vendors and activities.
The event will be held this year at Bingeman’s event centre in Kitchener, Ont. Friday kicks off with a paid training seminar on the transportation of dangerous goods according to Transport Canada’s regulations. In the afternoon, attend training sessions and open forums conducted by OPP, MTO, CAA and PTAO. On Friday evening take a peek into the vendor’s showroom and attend PTAO’s annual general meeting before honouring those killed in the line of duty at the Let the Light Shine event. End the night with a spread of free hot appetizers — there will be a cash bar on site.
On Saturday, explore the showroom and stop by PTAO’s booth to get acquainted with the new PTAO CEO, Stephen Ashworth. Watch industry professionals battle for the title of “Ontario’s best operator” before snapping a picture with your favourite star of Heavy Rescue: 401 in the afternoon. Close off the convention by sipping cocktails and networking with other industry professionals at a semi-formal dinner.
Calling all operators: do you know someone in the industry that consistently goes above and beyond in the line of duty? The PTAO is looking for Hero of the Industry nominations. Click here to submit a nomination.
Accommodations will be at the Courtyard by Marriot St. Jacobs. For more information about the event, click here.
