Toronto, Ontario — CARSTAR has been busy making up for lost time this spring as the global body shop banner hosted five regional meetings across the country over the past several months, following a two-year COVID-induced hiatus.
The company gathered its partners and shareholders at events in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Nova Scotia and Quebec. According to CARSTAR, the Quebec meeting drew in record attendance with franchise partners, vendors, insurers and corporate team members.
“Across Canada, dedicated owners who are committed to investing the time and resources each year, join us at these regional events to build and improve their businesses,” said CARSTAR Canada COO Jeff Labanovich.
“These meetings provide a forum to review our operational performance, provide an opportunity for owners to share best practices amongst each other and get the chance to hear from top industry leaders to discuss regional challenges.”
A brand known for taking every opportunity to raise some money for a good cause, CARSTAR’s regional meetings partially doubled as fundraising events for the company’s long-standing charitable partner, Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
“Our support for cystic fibrosis all began when a CARSTAR franchise partner’s granddaughter received a cystic fibrosis diagnosis and the network banned together to raise money to combat the disease,” said Labanovich.
“Thanks to the generosity at our regional meetings, we were able to raise over $25,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Canada, a huge achievement. Special thanks to everyone who went above and beyond for our charity of choice.”
