Vancouver, British Columbia — The Canadian Collision Industry Forum (CCIF) has now officially cancelled its in-person Vancouver event slated for September 23 and 24, 2021.
Paul Prochilo, CCIF chairman, says that it’s disappointing that they have to cancel this year, but they are looking forward to planning next year’s event.
“Despite a slow start, Canada’s national vaccine rollout program is appearing to be optimistic toward a more normal event landscape next year. We are very excited for our 2022 meeting in Toronto as we prepare to return in-person,” said Prochilo.
Currently, CCIF is looking into an online event for this year so they can continue to engage in the collision repair community and give people in the automotive industry something to look forward to.
“It’s always difficult to make those decisions, but we act according to the data, facts and the feedback we have received. We hope that by next year we will be ready to rock and roll again in-person in quarter 1 of 2022!” said Caroline Lacasse, Director, CCIF.
