Burnaby, British Columbia — May 18, 2018 — Fix Auto announced the appointment of Thomas Maple to general manager for the British Columbia region.
“We have seen tremendous growth in the West with over 90 Fix Automotive network brand locations now operating throughout Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan,” said Steve Leal, president of Fix Auto World. “With that it has become very clear that new operating regions are required along with a dedicated general manager for B.C. to help facilitate this growth while ensuring our current franchise strategic partners continue to receive unwavering support from our corporate team. I am excited to announce Thomas Maple as our new general manager, B.C. region.”
Maple began his journey with Fix Auto in 2012 as the shop manager of Fix Auto Calgary South Central. He later transitioned into the strategic partner developer position for the Alberta market, a key operational role supporting unprecedented regional growth in 2013. In 2014 Maple relocated to B.C. in the same role, providing onsite assistance to Fix Auto’s members. As the brand and team continued to grow, he moved into the operations manager position in 2015, directing a team which oversaw franchise consistency in both Alberta and B.C. Maple’s in-depth understanding and experience from the shop level to corporate management, uniquely positions him to provide an exceptional customer experience to franchisees, while driving the region forward. Maple’s role will be to pursue the strategic development of all Fix Automotive network brands in B.C. and to support operations of the current Fix Auto, NOVUS Glass and Speedy Auto Service locations.
“I am excited to continue my journey with the Fix Automotive Network,” he said. “This dynamic team exemplifies a mix of experience and youth, with a passion for this industry and a commitment to the success of all our franchisees and partners. I am very proud to be a part of it!”
