Windsor, Ontario — Jeep has announced a limited-edition pink hue it will offer to Canadian customers for the 2022 Wrangler—so long as they get their orders in by the end of the month.
The company is calling the shade ‘Tuscadero’, which it describes as ‘a “deep and intense chromatic magenta.” It joins three other special colours: Gecko, a vibrant green hue; Chief, an electric baby blue and Nacho, a bright orange.
Jeep initially introduced the Tuscadero shade in the U.S. back in August. Since then, it’s been slapped on nearly 30,000 Wrangler models, making it the most popular special colour of the year. The hue costs US$395, according to Jeep.
“We expected Tuscadero to be popular, and the customer response has been overwhelmingly strong,” said Jim Morrison, vice president and head of Jeep brand North America, in the company’s announcement.
