Las Vegas, Nevada — Pack up a bottle of Advil and your lucky cargo shorts, all signs are pointing to the 2021 SEMA show being on and in person in Las Vegas this year, following 2020’s COVID-induced virtual hiatus.
Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak recently committed to reopening the state to 100 percent open operations by June 1, leading SEMA show organizers to secure up space at the Las Vegas Convention Center, well in advance of the confirmed Nov. 2-5 show dates.
As it stands, more than 1,200 companies have signed on as exhibitors for this year’s show.
“The industry has spent the past year separated, and businesses are anxious and eager to reconnect in person,” said Tom Gattuso, SEMA v-p of events.
“We’re seeing more and more manufacturers sign up to exhibit at the SEMA Show every day, and we anticipate hundreds more will do so before the Priority Booth Space Draw begins in June.”
Applications for the SEMA Priority Booth Space Draw are open until May 7.
“We are hearing an overwhelming response from exhibitors,” said Gattuso.
“They have nearly two years’ worth of innovation to share, and they will be showing it off at the SEMA Show. Based on what we are hearing, exhibitors are pulling out all the stops.”
