Toronto, Ontario — Virtual estimating creates a win-win outcome for all parties involved and is quickly becoming the new preferred method of inspection, says Mitchell International’s most recent Industry Trends Report.
Using data gathered by ZenDesk, Mitchell says more than two-thirds of customer respondents prefer self-service over speaking with a company representative.
Further, customers are shown to prefer digital claim solutions, which have been shown to improve customer satisfaction scores by nearly 20 percent, says the report.
Diving deeper into data on photo-based estimations, Mitchell also states appraisers can increase productivity by more than 15 to 20 estimates a day by implementing proper photo-based estimation tools.
