Starbuck, Manitoba — Back after two years of COVID-19 lockdowns, the TED Group held its sixth Ted Greenwood Memorial Golf Tournament last Thursday, bringing together friends new and old for a day of golf and prizes.
Starbuck, Man.’s Bridges Golf Course played host to this sixth edition of the annual tournament and saw attendees come away from the day with a number of exceptional prizes, including a 2022 Mercedes-Benz, a 2022 Cadillac and two cash prizes of $10,000, for challenges like hitting a hole-in-one, longest drive and closest to the line.
Those who couldn’t hit a lucky shot still went home with gift bags worth $150 each, courtesy of the TED Group.
The day also provided a venue for the group to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of its auto body supply brand, Rondex.
“We were happy to see some familiar faces who have been with us since our first tournament and excited to welcome those who joined us for the first time,” the group wrote in a statement to Collision Repair.
“All the attendees had a great time and had the chance to build stronger, existing relationships with their clients while forging new ones. There was amazing weather, food, drinks and prizes! Thanks to everyone who attended and sponsored the golf tournament and for making it a huge success—it’s been an amazing 50 years!”
