Winnipeg, Manitoba — The Skills Canada Automotive Technology Summit is officially only one week out and stakeholders from across the collision industry are gearing up for what is expected to be a truly insightful day of discussion and education.
The rapid-fire summit, lasting only two hours, is set to feature bite-sized talks from the director of Skills Canada’s Collision Repair Program, Leanne Jefferies; Scott Wideman of VW Audi, Sarah Giesbrecht of the Birchwood Automotive Group, Waldemar Koos from Manitoba Public Insurance and John Marlowe from Level5Drive.
President of Auto Plus Performance and frequent Collision Repair contributor, Venessa Di Vito will close out the summit with her presentation on marketing for collision repair facilities.
“The Skills Canada Automotive Technology Summit provides a unique opportunity to gain direct insight into automotive industry trends, changing technology and skills needed in the future workforce,” wrote Skills Canada in an early May press release.
The summit is set to take place at the Delta Hotel in Winnipeg on May 25. Tickets for the event are free, but are capped at 150 attendees.
