Winnipeg, Manitoba — A date has officially been set for the Skills Canada Automotive Technology Summit, where experts from across Canada’s collision industry will converge on Winnipeg for a day of discussion on the latest technology trends.
May 25 will see a rapid-fire schedule of presentations, according to Tuesday’s press release from Skills Canada, featuring experts in the field of collision, human resources, insurance and ADAS technology.
The day will kick off at 2 p.m. with an address from the director of Skills Canada’s Collision Repair Program, Leanne Jefferies, and lead into talks from Scott Wideman of VW Audi, Sarah Giesbrecht of the Birchwood Automotive Group, Waldemar Koos from Manitoba Public Insurance, John Marlowe from Level5Drive.
President of Auto Plus Performance and frequent Collision Repair contributor, Venessa Di Vito will close out the summit at 4 p.m. with her presentation on marketing for collision repair facilities.
“The Skills Canada Automotive Technology Summit provides a unique opportunity to gain direct insight into automotive industry trends, changing technology and skills needed in the future workforce,” wrote Skills Canada in its press release.
The summit is set to take place at the Delta Hotel in Winnipeg on May 25. Tickets for the event are free, but are limited to 150 attendees, so act now if you want to take part in this exciting event.
