Toronto, Ontario — The upcoming SEMA Show is less than two weeks away, but its announcements refuse to stop with yesterday’s reveal of the fourth annual SEMA Show Student Career Day.
On Monday, Nov. 4 from 1 to 3 p.m., students from more than 700 high schools, colleges and universities from all over the United States will take to the SEMA event centre where they will meet with more than 40 automotive industry companies.
The career day program is in its fourth year at SEMA and aims to get student minds racing at the prospect of automotive aftermarket career paths—showcasing all the diverse work available in the industry.
Whether they are hiring or just looking to connect with what could be the next generation of the automotive aftermarket workforce, any registering company receives its own booth, a list of school contacts in advance, and can opt-in to SEMA’s “Career Connections” add-on, which allows them access to direct messaging with anyone in attendance currently seeking work as well as a free, month-long job posting for any eager pre-apprentices.
Companies looking to register for the Student Career Day at SEMA can do so on SEMA’s site.
