Red Deer, Alberta – CARSTAR is feeling the holiday spirit with its Red Deer and Red Deer South collision centres making a sizable donation to charities in their local community.
CARSTAR Red Deer and Red Deer South continued on with their tradition of giving back during the holiday season by making a $2,500 donation to Red Deer Christmas Bureau and Red Deer Food Bank.
“We know everyone is facing new challenges this year, putting a strain on every aspect of our community,” says the owner of CARSTAR Red Deer and CARSTAR Red Deer South, Darryl Hemstreet.
“Locals supporting locals is key in times like this and we are more than willing to continue our annual tradition this year, as we know it counts now, more than ever before.”
Both charities Hemstreet and his team support work to ensure that there is food on the table and a present under the tree for every family in the Red Deer, Alberta community.
“Our whole team at both Red Deer locations play a big part in making these donations possible,” said Hemstreet.
“We are thrilled to have surpassed $30,000 in funds raised since we started this tradition in 2004 and we plan to continue our contributions in the years to come.”
