Milton, Ontario — Do you have Spanesi equipment sitting around but no technicians trained to use them? Well, a trio of free training courses supported by the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) may be just what your team needs to put those fancy yellow tools to work.
Over the course of April 25 to 27, trainers from Spanesi Americas will be on site at the CWB training facility in Milton, Ont. to deliver a series of crash courses on the company’s Touch measuring system, as well as the 100 Series Bench and Universal Jig System.
The first two days will see the class working alongside the same Spanesi technical trainers who are responsible for installing the popular Touch measuring system in bodyshops all across North America. The Touch system training will be delivered in two parts, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST each day.
The third day will involve instruction on the basics of Spanesi’s 100 Series Bench and Universal Jig System, where attendees will learn how to load and lift a vehicle on the bench, anchor a vehicle with universal jigs and clamps, as well as operate a pulling tower.
The final day of training will also run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but will be limited to two participants from any one collision facility.
