Kenosha, Wisconsin — October 17, 2016 — Snap-on has announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Car-O-Liner for approximately $155 million USD in cash.
Car-O-Liner’s global headquarters are in Gothenburg, Sweden. The company has trailing 12 month sales of approximately $95 million. The transaction is expected to close within 30 days, subject to certain closing conditions.
Car-O-Liner is a well-known manufacturer of collision repair, measuring and wheel alignment systems. The company’s brands include Car-O-Liner, Josam, TruckCam and Car-O-Liner Academy.
