Shuffling the Board: AIA Canada unveils new board members during AGM

Ottawa, Ontario — The Automotive Industries Association of Canada (AIA Canada) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) yesterday, where the organization unveiled its 2021 Board of Directors.

AIA Canada has named Bob Jaworski, president and general manager of Auto Electric Service, as its executive chairman for 2021-22.

Jaworski takes over from Susan Hitchon, business development manager for the Aftermarket Education and Development division of the Automotive Aftermarket E-Learning Centre.

Hitchon will continue to serve on the Board as the immediate past chair, while Jason Yurchak and Shannon Spano will serve as first and second vice-chairs, respectively.

AIA Canada also named the following newly elected members of the board:

  • Craig Jalbert, business development manager for 3M Canada’s Automotive Aftermarket Division
  • Tony Kuczynski, president and CEO of Mister Transmission
  • Derek Suen, manager of Dorman Products
