Toronto, Ontario — October 18, 2015 — The SEMA Show is just around the corner, taking place November 3 to 6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This year’s event is bigger than ever. The trade show floor is huge and education events are everywhere. To help you get around, SEMA has released an app for smart phones that will help conference-goers successfully navigate this sprawling industry event.
The SEMA Show Mobile App is designed to help you execute your show plan by using the scheduling, organization and navigation features available in the app. We’ve taken a look at it in advance of the show, and we can say that it looks like it would be a truly useful and handy tool for getting the most out of your trip.
First off, the latest news and social media feeds will be uploaded to the app prior to and during the show. Second, a turn-by-turn navigation feature will make sure you don’t get lost on the show floor. Another great bit of kit, the “Locate Me” feature, allows visitors to find their location on the Show floor and provides the quickest turn-by-turn route to get to the booth they are looking for.
Third, smartphone users can also create customized product lists, scan products and handle post-show follow-up through the app. Users will also have instant access to all of the new product photos and product descriptions by opening day. “Exhibitors can access the photos anytime from anywhere, making it the next best thing to being at the Showcase itself,” says the press release.
Last, but definitely not least, get updates on “Flag Events, Seminars and Celebrity Appearances” through the app. Discover appearances alphabetically, or by show section. You can get the app at SEMAShow.com/app.
