Toronto, Ontario — August 30, 2017 — To celebrate Canada’s recent 150th birthday, SATA has announced the release of a special edition spray gun—the SATAjet 5000 B 150 Years Canada. Decked out with iconic images from Canada’s technological past, the spray gun features a laser image of a sailing schooner from the early days of Confederation, and the legendary Avro Arrow and the official Canada 150 logo.
“The images for the SATAjet Canada 150 were chosen to reflect Canada’s unique transportation and technological history. The schooner and Arrow are Canadian icons that inspire innovation and a sense of national identity,” said April Chadwick, Marketing Specialist for SATA Canada. Schooners were an important part of Canada’s maritime transportation industry on the Atlantic and Pacific coasts, and throughout the Great Lakes.
The schooner’s combination of functional efficiency and beauty naturally led to racing competitions for working schooners, which in turn allowed these agile workhorses of the sea to become symbols of Canada’s transportation history. The SATAjet 5000 B honours this important part of Canadian history.
The Avro CF-105 Arrow debuted in 1957 as a unique Canadian technological achievement. The supersonic interceptor was the world’s fastest and most advanced jet aircraft. Although the program was eventually cancelled, the Arrow continues to have a firm hold on the public’s imagination to this day.
The spray gun was developed based on the premium SATAjet 5000 B, and is available in RP technology.
Only 150 individually numbered spray guns are available, so interested buyers should act quickly if they hope to get their hands on this product.
