Strathmore, Alberta — Fix Auto Strathmore and Fix Auto Deerfoot recently sponsored the Strathmore Stampede from August 2 to 5, 2024, participating in all levels of the event from promotion and hospitality to running with the bulls in one of Western Canada’s most celebrated rodeos.
The rodeo, which has grown from its initial inception in 1966 to a grand spectacle that now welcomes over 40,000 attendees each year, saw Fix Auto Strathmore and Fix Auto Deerfoot members participating in several aspects of the event.
According to a recent media release, the team members, along with their families, “proudly marched throughout the streets carrying Fix Auto banners. They actively handed out goodies and spread cheer among the attendees. The Fix Auto logo even made a unique appearance painted on the horses at the event.”
Moreover, Fix Auto’s branded banners were also displayed throughout the grounds as well as featured on the JumboTron.
The media release further noted that to showcase the “true spirit of the Stampede,” one of the team’s detailers participated in the running with the bulls’ event.
As part of broader sponsorship efforts, Fix Auto also sponsored the World Professional Chuckwagons’ “Dash for Cash.” Here, the top four wagons from the weekend competed for a $25,000 cash prize.
In reflecting on the event, Fix Auto further commented that the company “was honoured to be part of this historic event. Fix Auto Strathmore and Fix Auto Deerfoot played key roles in connecting with the community and elevating the event’s spirit.”
