Toronto, Ontario — Behold, the infrastructure inquisition—also known as the CAA Worst Roads campaign—set to kick off on Tuesday for its twentieth year.
The annual campaign calls on Canadian drivers to name and shame the most poorly maintained roadways in their local area.
According to CAA’s South Central Ontario division, “the campaign is a platform for Ontarians to make our roads safer by helping different levels of government understand what roadway improvements are important to citizens and where they need to be made.”
Last year, Hamilton’s Barton Street East took the top spot as the bumpiest stretch of road in Southern Ontario, followed closely by Toronto’s Eglinton Avenue West—both of which are heavily trafficked thoroughfares in major cities.
Stay tuned for Tuesday’s full announcement where further details will be unveiled.
