Robo Receptionists: GoMoto and VenueVision partner in new kiosk technology

Toronto, Ontario — Oct. 15, 2019 — GoMoto, an American company that produces self-service check-in kiosks for dealerships and repair facilities, has partnered with Canadian company VenueVision to bring its products to the Canadian market.

By integrating GoMoto with VenueVision and bringing GoMoto’s kiosk technology up north, the companies aim to increase customer convenience and improve communications between facilities and its service customers. Customers will be able to check-in faster, authorize any additional repairs faster, receive real-time status updates on their vehicles and check out faster by viewing and paying their invoices with VenueVision’s mobile cashier technology.

“Automotive dealers are looking to improve their dealership experience, profitability and end-to-end solutions,” said GoMoto CEO, Todd Marcelle. “Working with VenueVision, the market leader in Canada, was an easy decision.”

GoMoto uses a self-led kiosk system designed to streamline customer check-in and check-out. Kiosks are meant to reduce check-in and check-out times while providing a consistent experience that improves customer satisfaction and revenue.

According to GoMoto’s website, its kiosks are capable of checking customers in for their appointments in under two minutes. It also states that 85 percent of customers prefer using a self-service kiosk for check-ins, as opposed to a receptionist or any real-life employee.

VenueVision, an Oakville, Ontario-based kiosk provider, uses its mobile cashier technology to allow customers to view and pay their invoices faster, allowing for more efficient checkout times. Further, the company’s fully integrated shuttle tracker and loaner software allows for more efficient scheduling and dispatching for facilities, reducing frustrations for all involved.
