Montreal, Quebec — Industry stakeholders from all across Canada gathered in droves this week as the Canadian Collision Industry Forum (CCIF) held its first event in two years, four months and three days—not that we were counting.
CCIF chairman Paul Prochilo said all verticals of the industry were represented at CCIF Montreal. He said 51 percent of attendees identified as suppliers/distributors; 23 percent were from collision centres; 13 percent from the insurer space; eight percent students/educators; two percent were OE manufacturers or dealers and three percent media.
The organization welcomed Steering Committee members Craig Jalbert of 3M’s Automotive Aftermarket division, Phil Jennings of Uniparts O.E.M., Jeff Labanovich of CARSTAR Canada, John Lockwood of CSN Collision Centres, Roman Sawtschuk of Heartland Farm Mutual, Michael Thibault of Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Keith Tuttosi of NAPA/CMAX and Anita Zeitler of Wawanesa Insurance—all of whom were attending their first in-person CCIF as members of the Committee.
CCIF chairman Paul Prochilo also extended thanks to members who had ended their terms, commending Daniel Grenier of Mazda Canada, Vince Maida of Desjardins and Chelsea Stebner of Saskatoon’s Parr Auto Body for their service.
