Laval, Quebec — One week ago, Simplicity Car Care held its regional training session in Laval, Quebec, where franchisees from across the province met to strengthen operational procedures and customer service capabilities for the new year.
The event was hosted at Simplicity Car Care Laval, where approximately 14 attendees engaged in workshops, presentations and hands-on learning opportunities.
The training session was specifically facilitated by Sean Kell, regional performance manager of Simplicity Car Care. Additionally, representatives from Enterprise delivered specialized training on the ARMS platform.
Collision Repair magazine reached out to Greg Wing, director of strategic partnerships at Simplicity Car Care, to learn more about the event.
Notably, when asked about the importance of events like this, Wing commented “we do this quarterly for every region in Canada for all our Simplifiers to attend. It helps bring the locations together, discuss needs in their market and focus on training that helps the stores thrive in the current marketplace. We work on strategies, insurance company needs and any other skill set that has been identified that needs some fine-tuning.”
Furthermore, Sean Kell concluded that “the highlight of the event was having Kevin Harvey from Enterprise come and speak about not only managing rental costs in the Quebec region but also some tips and tricks to reduce the administration burden in today’s environment. His presentation was very well put together. The second highlight was gathering at our new Laval intake centre and having a bit of a year-end celebration hosted by Viken Nanor and Nareg who were gracious enough to allow us to use their boardroom.”
