Toronto, Ontario – Progi continues to progress–the software company recently revealed upgrades to its appointment management software, ProgiSync for the purpose of promoting OEM certification.
In its Sept. 8 press release, Progi highlighted how, for collision shops, the process of acquiring and maintaining certifications is one that “requires considerable and sustained investment,” and “which must [also] require the necessary equipment and regular [training to] the manufacturer’s requirements.”
As a result, Progi’s new features for ProgiSync aim to help those in the automotive industry more accurately display their qualifications “since certifications must be renewed annually [and] the validity of the information represents a major challenge in the process.”
The specific features that Progi is promoting include the ability for collision shops to promote their OEM certifications to their insurer and network partners directly in ProgiSync, an easy and convenient way to highlight their investment.
Insurers, for their part, can also assign work more efficiently to qualified collision shops depending on the vehicle to be repaired.
With the ultimate goal of promoting increased efficiency in the automotive repair world, Diane Chaîné, President of Progi, adds that “certifications have been on Progi’s radar for years.”
She adds that, “we knew that this trend would increase over time. In this sense, several initiatives have been launched in our solutions in the past. We’re now moving on to the next stage, enabling collision shops to display their certifications directly on the ProgiSync platform and insurers to easily assign work requiring certification within their network of suppliers. We salute the continuous improvement efforts of the workshops that are taking up the challenge of OEM certification.”
With the second updated feature to ProgiSync, collision shops can indicate their maximum capacity in hours by day and available staff, add the estimated time to repair vehicles and identify the best time for repairs according to their shop’s capacity.
Progi ended their press release with the assurance that these new and fee-based features through ProgiSync will be aimed at all certified collision shops, their networks and vehicle damage insurers.
Interested collision shops and networks are invited to contact Progi customer service today. Insurers can obtain more information by contacting their Progi representative.
