Mississauga, Ontario — December 10, 2015 — PPG’s lineup of Vibrance Collection custom paint finishes has been expanded with the launch of DSC5250 Ditzler Satin Clear Kit. The new kit includes a quart of VC5250 Ditzler Satin Clear and a half pint of VH7250 Ditzler Satin Clear Hardener.
PPG says that with the addition of the appropriate PPG urethane reducer—based on VOC compliance—and a simple mix, it’s ready for spraying. Ditzler Satin Clear provides a smooth and silky low-gloss finish. A statement from the company says it gives custom car builders more choices and possibilities in their designs and paint schemes. VC5250 Ditzler Satin Clear is fully compatible with the Vibrance Collection brand paint system and is compliant in all North American regions. PPG says it offers exceptional uniformity and clarity, and its simple mix ratio and ease of application make it painter-friendly.
“The Vibrance Collection lineup is well known for producing an array of dynamic products to bring the most creative design ideas to life,” said Steve Lehner, PPG Segment Manager. “Low-gloss finishes are very popular; getting them just right is important for our customers. Introducing the Satin Clear Kit to the Vibrance Collection gives our customers more opportunities to create the imaginative finishes they’ve pictured for their rides, and combining the clear and the hardener in one kit makes it all the more convenient.”
