Mississauga, Ontario — August 23, 2017 — Mercedes-Benz has approved the use of the latest generation of PPG Envirobase High Performance waterborne automotive refinish system for Mercedes-Benz Canada’s Approved Collision program.
The formal approval of PPG Envirobase High Performance was issued by Mercedes-Benz Headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, where the waterborne system was extensively tested.
The Canadian announcement was made jointly by PPG’s Norm Angrove, Director, Refinish Canada, and Tony McQuillan, Manager, Accident Management, Mercedes-Benz Canada.
Effective immediately, Mercedes-Benz dealerships and Mercedes-Benz Approved Collision Centres across Canada have the go-ahead to use PPG Envirobase High Performance system refinish products for the repair of all Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles and Mercedes-Benz vans.

According to a statement from PPG, the company’s waterborne products are used in more than 10,000 collision centres across North America.
“We are very pleased and look forward to adding PPG to our Mercedes-Benz Canada Approved Collision Centre Program,” said McQuillan.
