Mississauga, Ontario — November 10, 2015 — PPG Canada has introduced the Shop-Line refinish system to its collision centre customers across the country. The new line is compliant with VOC emissions regulations. A statement from PPG says the Shop-Line system has been developed for repair facilities seeking a solventborne solution at an economical price.
“We understand that PPG customers want choices when selecting a refinish system,” said Jennifer Boros, PPG Marketing Director, Collision Segment. “We’ve developed the easy-to-use Shop-Line system to provide an ideal yet practical balance of performance and price.”
The Shop-Line brand provides a complete lineup of 2.1 VOC undercoats and clearcoats along with a compact colour mixing system that offers colour matches for the latest vehicle finishes. The system is supported by an extensive chromatically arranged colour deck containing 1,800 large prime color chips, each sprayed with PPG refinish paint for colour-matching accuracy. The deck is updated annually.
The PPG Shop-Line brand also offers the Shop-Line Plus 3.5 VOC Acrylic Urethane Basecoat system—which includes high-strength toners and unique pigments—formulated to optimize the refinish system’s throughput, hiding power and colour match capabilities for today’s OEM finishes.
Shop-Line and Shop-Line Plus products are available exclusively through PPG Platinum Distributors. For more information, please visit ppgrefinish.com.
