London, Ontario — September 21, 2016 — PBE Distributors held its annual Charity Golf Classic at Glencairn Golf Club in Halton Hills, Ont. This year’s tournament was the 20th anniversary of the event, which drew stakeholders from across a number of segments of the auto claims economy.
All proceeds from the Charity Golf Classic go to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Western Ontario at London Health Sciences. PBE Distributors is a subsidiary of Color Compass, which also owns Carlson Body Shop Supply, Chase Auto Body Supplies, Rocky Mountain Sales and White & Peters.
In addition to a great round of golf using Texas Scramble rules, the day also included a BBQ lunch sponsored by BASF and a dinner followed by prize awards and draws.
The title sponsors for the event were 3M, BASF, Saint Gobain, Valspar, Pro Form and AkzoNobel.
The foursome of Jack Kraft, Morley Obrie, Margie Austin and Paul Ovarholt finished first in the tournament. Second place went to the foursome of Mike Burell, Justin Brown, Craig Pierce and Ryan Johnson. The foursome of Darrin Heise, Brian Eddy, Jim Speck and Arnie White finished third.
