Paris Agreement: Ford to build 52,000 sq. m. distribution centre in Paris, Ont.

Paris, Ontario — The Hamilton, Ont. suburb of Paris is gearing up to welcome a new neighbour to the business community as Ford has begun construction on a new 52,000 sq. m. (562,000 square-foot) distribution centre.

Foundations are currently being laid on the land that will serve as a sibling facility to the Casselman, Ont., distribution centre. The Paris plant will be located directly adjacent to Highway 403, south of downtown.

The new state-of-the-art facility is being constructed by local builder Vicano Developments Ltd.

In the effort of maintaining a dual-facility distribution network in Ontario, the new Ford centre will replace the former Bramalea distribution centre.

Construction on the Paris, Ont. facility began in May and is expected to finish by December of 2022.
