Toronto, Ontario — Travelers Canada today announced it is extending its Stay-at-Home Auto Premium Credit Program to provide its personal auto insurance customers with an additional 15 percent credit on one month’s premium. This follows the 25 percent credit previously announced by the company in response to the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the driving environment.
The company will automatically credit customers’ accounts. Those who pay by monthly installments will receive the automatic credit on a future bill. Customers who have already paid in full will receive a payment via a mailed cheque.
The Stay-at-Home Auto Premium Credit Program is part of the company’s COVID-19 response initiatives. Travelers Canada has offered billing relief to customers, accelerated payments to eligible brokers and pledged $5 million to assist families and communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic across North America and internationally. The company also continues to work with individuals experiencing financial hardships to offer solutions based on their unique circumstances.
