Toronto, Ontario — Newsweek put out its 2023 list of “America’s Greatest Workplaces” recently, which saw global paint developer PPG come away with an impressive score of 4.5 out of five for the 52,000 employee-strong company.
Poring over more than 389,000 company reviews in the process, Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group determined PPG to be among the very best of U.S.-based companies of more than 1,000 employees.
The study found that PPG excels when it comes to the empowerment of women, promotion of veterans, development of entry-level employees and support of LGBTQ associates.
“At PPG, we work every day to ensure that every one of our 52,000 employees around the world is supported in the work they do to bring our purpose—‘We Protect and Beautify the World’—to life,” said PPG’s chief human resources officer Kevin Walling.
“It takes everyone at PPG to create a great workplace where we can all thrive and grow. This recognition showcases how our employees make it happen every day.”
This is not the first HR accolade for PPG this year, having also been named to Newsweek’s list of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women earlier this year, in addition to recognition as a “Best Place to work for Disability Inclusion” by the DISABILITY EQUALITY INDEX (DEI).
