Toronto, Ontario — Simplicity Car Care released its 2021 Annual Report for stakeholders on Monday, pulling back the curtain on a year of impressive growth and bold goals for the collision repair banner’s legacy.
This year’s annual report comes with the theme of “rebuilding to what life was pre-pandemic,” according to Simplicity CEO Paul Prochilo.
Chief among the brand’s accomplishments over the past year is the impressive 7.7 day cycle time reported by Simplicity, which they say is “approximately a 45 percent beat of the industry performance.”
This cycle time, combined with a 97 percent on-time vehicle delivery score, contributed to Simplicity’s Net Promoter Score of 93 percent, pointing toward a continued commitment toward customer satisfaction despite severe parts shortages. Those figures are up from last year’s 95.5 percent on-time vehicle delivery score and 90 percent Net Promoter Score.
The company didn’t just see growth in its metrics in 2021, but in its place on the map as well, reporting the addition of 23 new facilities to the network and net new store growth of 47 percent year-over-year. This year also marked Simplicity’s first steps into British Columbia with the opening of the province’s inaugural facility in Prince George.
Quebec also earned some special attention from the banner, reporting a net new store growth rate of 250 percent that easily topped every other province.
This latest report from Simplicity also comes with a particular focus on social causes and the sort of role the brand occupies in the Canadian collision repair industry.
Prochilo said “Market leadership is not just measured by scale and performance, but also by legacy,” and that the company strives “to leave a positive impact in every community we serve.”
As such, the company has committed to be carbon positive in its operations by 2045 with a plan to reduce its carbon footprint by 6 percent annually until reaching that goal.
