Toronto, Ontario — The Automotive Recyclers of Canada (ARC) will be welcoming a select few influential industry members to an exclusive invite-only roundtable discussion on electrification and the end-of-life vehicle sector, one day prior to the upcoming OARA Convention and Trade Show in March.
This high-level industry event will feature presentations from experts like Maria Kelleher from Kelleher Environmental, who will speak on how the electric vehicle (EV) sector interacts with NGOs, government.
Ryan Mandell, director of claims performance at Mitchell International, will take the stage to offer his company’s latest EV data related to the recycling industry.
Jeff Haltrecht, from Call2Recycle Canada and co-author of the Canadian Vehicle Manufacturers Association’s (CVMA) “EV Battery Management at End-of-Vehicle Life” report, will present his findings.
Finally, ARC managing director Steve Fletcher will provide a synopsis of the organization’s “Roadmap and Implementation Plan for the Management of End-of-Life Electric Vehicles in Canada.”
Fletcher says that additional speakers will be added to the agenda, however, the primary focus of the event will be on the roundtable discussion among all participants.
This roundtable event is set to run on March 30, one day prior to the beginning of the OARA convention, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hilton Mississauga.
