Toronto, Ontario — February 5, 2017 — The Ontario College of Trades (OCOT) has announced it will hold an online consultation on a number of topics related to the College and its mandate.
The online consultation covers Journeyperson to Apprentice Ratios, OCOT’s Compliance and Enforcement Policy, Trade Classification Review Referrals and Program Evaluation Process.
The online consultation opened on January 30, 2017 and is scheduled to run until February 28, 2017. Industry stakeholders can participate in the consultation at this link. The consultation takes the form an online survey that should take between 15 to 20 minutes to complete.
According to OCOT, your responses will inform changes to the College’s regulatory and policy framework and will help the College better regulate the trades in the public interest.
