Saskatoon, Saskatchewan — If you’re looking to secure your spot at the Saskatchewan Association of Automotive Repairers (SAAR) Fall golf event at Dakota Dunes, you’d better act quickly–registration closes this Friday, Aug. 11.
The golf day, slated for Sept. 7, will kick off at noon with a burger lunch and shotgun start. Awards will be distributed following golf, alongside an evening banquet around 6:30 p.m.
The golf portion of the event is just part of SAAR’s two-day Fall Conference. The event, a favourite for SAAR members and its vendor partners, will feature speaker presentations from Saskatchewan Government Insurance (SGI), Mitchell and Dave Luehr of Elite Body Shop Solutions.
After lunch, SAAR will host a trade show with 40+ vendors, complete with a car show, live stage and an interactive welding booth from BETAG. SAAR also plans to host local schools and their students at the trade show, says director Tom Bissonnette, where students from Sask Polytech will compete for tools.
Breakout sessions from AutoHouse Technologies, Bodyshop Connect, Clarity Coaching and 3M are also on the Sept. 8 docket.
The SAAR Fall conference will close out with an evening supper and karaoke afterparty.
