Milton, Ontario — Sept. 25, 2019 — In the second of five regional meetings to be held across Canada this fall, Fix Network Ontario franchise strategic partners gathered at the serene Kingbridge Conference Centre in King City, Ont.
The team had the opportunity to take in business updates, network with supplier and insurance partners, share best practices all while having fun.
The two-day event began with the annual Fix Network Masters Golf Tournament at King Valley Golf Club, where the company raised $10,550 for Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada. Now in its 10th year, the tournament serves as a great way for everyone to meet, greet, reconnect while supporting a great cause.
Later, Daryll O’Keefe, Fix Network Regional Vice President for Ontario opened the regional meeting with a warm welcome to all partners. He also announced the new owners and locations from around Ontario that have joined the team in 2019.
Steve Leal, President and CEO of Fix Network World provided a global update for all the brands as well as news regarding new supplier partnerships and the importance of the CCIAP recognition program on the collision side of the industry.
The entire team was treated to a presentation by Robert Ellis, the founder and president of MySafeWork. MySafeWork’s mission is to prevent employees from getting injured, harassed or killed on the job. It is committed to creating a social movement against unsafe work through education and empowerment, as well as inspire companies to establish strong safety culture through employee engagement.
The Fix Network boasts a “power of one” culture throughout its network; however Fix Auto, NOVUS Glass and Speedy Auto Service do represent three different spaces within the automotive aftermarket services industry. Break-out sessions for each brand were organized to deliver updates on marketing, sales and operations initiatives designed specifically for each brand.
Each year, shops are recognized for reaching specific anniversary milestones. This year, Fix Network is pleased to congratulate 23 shops in Ontario for reaching significant years of service within their communities.
