Toronto, Ontario — For the second year straight, the Canadian Collision Industry Forum (CCIF) has been forced to cancel its Toronto event due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 restrictions.
The organization made the announcement Friday evening via e-mail.
“The safety of all CCIF stakeholders is our first priority while planning the highly-anticipated CCIF events,” wrote the organization in its email announcement. “Unfortunately, the recent surge of COVID-19 cases has suggested cancelling the Toronto event was the most prudent step to take.”
CCIF said it looks forward to its Montreal event in June and that the CCIF Steering Committee is working on strategies that will “add significant value to the collision repair ecosystem.”
“Planning is still underway for our Montreal event in June and our Vancouver event in October,” said Caroline Lacasse, director of CCIF.
